How To Cure Sinus Infection By Using Onion Home Remedies

Sinus infection is caused by the swelling or inflammation occurred in the tissues around the air spaces of the sinus. Usually, sinus infection is termed as sinusitis in medical term. When the empty air spaces of sinus are filled with some infectious fluids which result in sinusitis and it happens through various bacteria and fungi.

Sinusitis is common among men and women. There are two types of sinusitis as acute sinusitis and chronic sinusitis. If it is acute type sinusitis then it will last for 3 to 4 weeks and in the case of chronic sinusitis, it may last for 8 to 12 weeks.

Chop some small onions and inhale their aromas directly as it will give a relief from the discomforts of sinusitis. Also consuming the raw onion will also be a better effective way in treating sinusitis.

Add some small onion slices into the boiling water and allow it to steep for some 5-10 minutes, use the steamy air for inhalation which comes from the boiling water; it will give you a good relief from stuffy nose. Also drink the warm onion water regularly for better results.
